Problems with traditional means of disposal:

There are a number of issues with the conventional method of removing waste from site in skips or tipper trucks, notwithstanding increasing legislation to limit their use for building waste, both through environmental and planning controls.

Reasons why you may already be unable to use skips/tippers to dispose of constrution rubble include:

  • No room on site and no area to park the skip.
  • Objections to possible damage caused by the skip/tipper vehicle.
  • Too difficult to move the rubble from the rear of the property to the skip.
  • Traffic congenstion makes vehicle movements difficult to schedule.
  • Planning permission for the job forbids the removal of rubble from site.

Narrow access:

Whether it's a knock-down and re-build or extension job, work on domesticand light industrial sites is always dominated by the restriced access and space.

The BAVTRAK 025 can go anywhere that a mini digger can. Independantly driven tracks allow precise manoeuvring on tight job sites. The powerful track motors and inherent machine stability make light work of travelling on site as well as loading and unloading from transport.

Low noise and vibration :

Since many small sites are also often in densely populated areas, it pays to be able to work with a minimum of environmental disruption. As well as benefitting from dust supression hoses, the BAVTRAK 025 produces very low noise and vibration and has a maximum average noise rating of 85.6dB.

The low noise and vibration result from the machine's unique crusher jaw design. Unlike conventional, flywheel-driven toggle-jaw crushers, the BAVTRAK 025's crusher box uses a high force and long amplitude, rather than a high frequnecy, small amplitude. The difference is like that between a four-stroke motorcycle and a two-stroke, but even more so, because not only is perceived noise less, but also the vibrations (which are the bit that can carry through the ground to neighbouring properties) are lower.

Crush-and-re-use:

You can use the conveyor to feed into a skip or dumper, or simply build up a stock pile. You can use the finer 0-50mm ouput grade for areas where higher load bearing is required and the 0-100mm coarse grade can be used for more general fill. For very fine grade, you can screen the 0-50mm output to get material suitable for use as aggregate in new concrete mixes.
